Reference the discussion of Proto's RDC-2's
To further detail the RDC to CP 'standards', (maroon and dulux version)
the following Eric Castings should be used:
Horn - H34 (VIA F40PH and CP Budd cars) 2 required
Light - L25 Budd cars light uses MV lenses #116
Number board N2 CPR RS 2 Numberboards (mounted above the headlight
on Phase 1 Budd cars)
In addition, there was a ladder on the left side rear (Baggage end taken
as front), positioned between the last window and the door. It was made
of 7 drop style grab irons and appears on almost all RDC's. It also
shows up in the folio drawings of the RDC-2's.
Also missing from the model, is a 2 step ladder under the baggage door,
most likely omitted to save interferring with the truck movement.
Incidentally car 9101 (one of the ones modelled by P1k) was destroyed
and deleted from the list on March 7 1960.
