A friend and myself are undertaking a project to build a Kettle Valley
Passenger car set as per Gib Kennedy in the 1959 MR article.
I am trying to source some of the bits and pieces that we will need, and one
item is the trucks. I have some 4 wheel trucks that will work on the baggage
and RPO cars, but the larger cars used 6 wheel trucks and I am not sure what to
use. I see various trucks listed in the Walthers catalog, most listed as
"Pullman" trucks, but I am not sure what ones are appropriate for the CPR wood
observation and dining cars.
Anyone else built these cars? Any hints or suggestions gladly accepted!
