Hello Mike,
First off its not a combine, its a emergence service car. It is more
than likely it was a first world war hospital car and before that a
coach in its earlier life. The coupla is made from the clerestory.
And the side doors where put there when is first coverted into a
hospital car.
I have in my collection two other emergence service cars one that
similar and one that is slightly different. But they all have the
side doors.
Regards,
Fred Shannon

A recent Jim Parker photo ( actually 2 photos) on Fallen Flags of a
wooden truss passenger car w/ cupola in work service - car number
411513 has me curious. Does anyone have a history on this combine ?
Whay was the length of this car; when was it built and religated to
MOW; when was to cupola added and for what purpose; any
would be appreicated.
