Christmas . I was seven at the time but I can remember so much of that trip .
Now it was a trip to Little Current to my grand uncles funneral but to a seven
year old CPR railfan it was a true adventure . I will write a piece from my 53

David I would very much enjoy your travel story, I remember being at a station
when I was small & they were putting these big blocks of ice in the bunkers
under the cars, they were BIG blocks to me & I could feel the cold walking by.
We went for a ride on the last passenger train from Armstrong to Kelowna, but I
don't remember much, I was probably about the same age as you were on your
