Do any of you have an answer to the question I received off line? I'm not
able to put my hands on it as my books are in a pile while I continue
setting up my new dungeo, err, office in the basement.....

Hi: Tried to access the web but it didn't work, so after seeing your name
decided to contact you. Don't have anything to contribute but do have a
question about the silk trains. Stuart McLean has broadcast twice on his
radio program info about the silk trains and how quickly the steam engines
moved from Vancouver to Fort William side lining anything in their path.
What I would like to know is how many hours it took to get from Vancouver to
Fort William?
