Thinking about this in a more general sense, I think very few tunnels
(or bridges) on CP have formal "official" names. The three major
tunnels in the Rogers Pass do of course, as does the John Fox viaduct
on the new line through there.
A lot do have names, of course, but these were probably developed by
local usage as a convenience. The Cisco bridge, where CP crosses the
Fraser River, is referred to in the files by its nominal mileage,
101.1 Thompson Sub. Similarly, the upper and lower spiral tunnels are
more formally referenced by their mileage location on the Laggan Sub.
The use of informal names on the railway extends to more than just
structures. Yards can be full of "named" locations and tracks that
are verbally passed from generation to generation of railroaders,
curves. Often the origins are now obscure. Even curves on the
mainline sometimes get named. Calamity Curve was a tight curve just
west of Redgrave, BC; did it once have a reputation for derailments?
A speeding engineer once failed to negotiate a curve on CN's Guelph
Sub, and his name was attached to that location for years afterward.
I can't help regarding the specific question regarding the tunnel over
to Drake Street in Vancouver. Don's answer sounds logical.

I've heard it called the Dunsmuir Tunnel but I don't believe that
correct quickly because it was OK when I looked at it.
The Wikipedia reference to the Connaught Tunnel seems to have been

Did the CPR tunnel under Dunsmuir Steet have a name? There is a
Wikipedia article "Canadian Pacific Railway in BC" which refers to it
as the Connaught Tunnel, which we know is wrong.
