We received a question in the mail and I don´t know the answer
myself.
Would anyone know how the CPR passenger car step boxes were painted?
Were they brass sides or painted some colour? Does time period
matters? Perhaps an outline of that would be useful.
All the CPR stepping bxs I've ever seen weren't painted, they were
stainless steel.
