Ran over the Soo from St. Paul to Portal ND. Over the CP from Portal to
Kingsgate BC. Over the Spokane International from Eastport ID to Spokane and
then over the OWR&N (UP) to Portland via Tekoa/Colfax/La Crosse. The current
Ayer Sub. (North Coast) hadn't been built yet.

More impressive was the CP/SOO train to Portland Oregon which lasted until
1914. They were even able to win the mail contract away from the Hill
lines! Routing was through Spokane over the then CP-controlled Spokane
International and then over the OWR&N (Union Pacific) to Portland.

I only have 1903 and 1907 timetables. According to the 1903 timetable
the connection was via the Seattle & Int. Rwy and in 1907 it the
Northern Pacific.
