Thanks for your reply.  The additional historical details and dates
that you provided are very interesting.  After receiving your feedback
I had a look on the net to see what I might find on QCR passenger
rolling stock.  I didn't uncover very much but the

a very interesting snapshot of the QC Newington shops and their once
significant passenger car building/rebuilding capability.

This car has an interesting history.  The car was purchased by the
Quebec Central in 03-1926 from Hotchkiss, Blue & Co. and renumbered to
2nd class & baggage car #89.  The builder and date built is unknown.
The car was rebuilt by QC with steel sheathing; another unknown date.
 The car was renumbered to QC #186 09-1935.  Renumbered to CP #3249
04-1936 and scrapped at Angus Shops 11-1961.
