There was some discussion a few months ago about available videos
about the KVR. The production "Around the Horn--The KV Line from 1890-
1989" from Merritt Cablevision was listed as a good source of
information and had some excellent historical footage, but it was
noted that those who had copies were not able to copy it for others.
I did some research, and through some much appreciated help, was able
to obtain a VHS copy, and also a TV broadcast quality tape format copy
from Merritt cablevision. Anticipating that others may also want a
copy for themselves, I asked for and received permission to copy the
tape for other KV affecionados. If anyone is interested, please
contact me off-list, and I will determine if there is enough interest
to locate a company that has the equipment to copy the TV studio
format tape to VHS or maybe even DVD. If this proceeds, rest assured
that I am not in this to make money--I would sell them at cost.
