Sometimes, searching for photos just depends on dumb luck. Tonight I found
these images.
The first couple are associated with the Sumas Local - which would be the
Huntingdon train we are writing about. This is taken in Vancouver c.1930

Hard to make out the passenger cars in this poor reproduction.
There are some tentative elements to the description of the next one, but
still it is worth looking at and considering:

So, a little more fuel for the fire. Trouble is, are these all properly
identified.....
