1946 8-Hatch steel refrigerator car

Dear all,

Did the 1946 8-Hatch steel refrigerator car, with 5' wide hinged door
and Dreadnaught end, have wore the passenger scheme?

If so, what would have been the numbering and did they rode on express
trucks?

I have look into CRC Pictorial Volume Five & into Morning Sun's Color
Guide and could only find info on the "Freight" ones, series 281350-
281849.
