Good morning Pauline,
Certainly, that would be very welcome if you would like to include some
additional points and recommendations to the drafts.
Especially from the perspectives and insight you have described of the
experience of residents in the community around the Silver Darling, and work
with the City Council and others toward addressing current issues and mitgating
future impact.
We should have up until the 26th / 28th available for consultation responses,
both from ourselves as Community Council as well as any other groups or
residents who would like to express their views.
If there is the chance to include the additional information and amendments
before then, that will hopefully allow us time to consider and approve the
responses we would like to send in as Community Council.
Thank you again,
Sincerely,
Jonathan

Responses (February, 2018)
Good morning,
Thanks for this, Jonathan,
May I suggest that I download and amend/add a little to your draft response to
Silver Darling application?
As I have been working with ACC under the auspices of CPCC to try and offset
problems caused by overtourism -pre Silver Darling application-I can comment on
how this extension will exacerbate the situation. Tourists and all day
drinking next to a children's play park and residential area do not mix.
If agreed, I'll try and turn this round quickly. Please let me know.
Sorry I can't canvass the village personally.
Kind Regards,
Pauline

Subject: [cpcc-committee] Community Council - Licensing Application Responses
(February, 2018)
Good evening everyone,
Earlier this week, William shared with members of the Community Council a
notification of 2 upcoming Licensing Applications, in addition to Planning
Applications.
The First Application was for Henry's Bar, with information available at this
website link:
https://www.tellmescotland.gov.uk/notices/aberdeen-city/licensing/00000167744
The Second Application was for the Silver Darling at Pocra Quar, with
information available at:
https://www.tellmescotland.gov.uk/notices/aberdeen-city/licensing/00000167745
-
First Application - Henry's Bar
Please find attached a draft consultation response for the Henry's Bar
application.
The response suggested is based on discussion on previous meetings of the
Community Council, as well as current research and views and experiences shared
by those in the community over previous months.
Second Application - Silver Darling, Pocra Quay
Please also find attached a draft consultation response for the Silver Darling
application.
For this application, it has also been suggested that we encourage further
responses from those in the community, and in particular from those who live
within the Fittie area as residents there are most likely to experience the
most of any potential impact as a result.
As part of this, we could also promote the License Applications and opportunity
for those in the community to respond on the Facebook Page for the Community
Council.
-
If anyone has any suggestions, recommendations, amendments or indeed any other
views that would be helpful to include, you are very welcome to let us know.
This will hopefully mean that we have enough time to consider the response
before the next meeting, as the consultations ares scheduled to close before
then.
Sincerely,
Jonathan
