Hi
Yes, I just received it on Friday and it is a big worry. Without the provision
of extra roads, I'm worried about how Centenary Park is going to handle the
extra traffic, not only from the high rise but now also from the child care
centre that is expecting to accommodate 113 children. It will be exactly like
the school drop-off and pick-up scenarios, where you get traffic jams during
those drop-off and pick-up times. Although they have marked 3 spots outside the
centre for drop-offs, they are expecting to take in 113 kids! So you can
imagine the number of cars that will be coming in, parking on the road to take
the kids inside, chatting with the staff and other parents, and driving off.
There will be a lot of double and triple parking!! I don't know how the
current residents are going to get in and out of the complex.
Incidentally, I don't recall receiving any DA notifications regarding the
development of a child care centre in Building B4. May be one of you can
remember.

Subject: [cpactiongroup] Child care Centre Development Application
Hi all,
Have you received the Child Care Development Application from Strathfield
Council?
Because it looks like they are building on Common Property Front and Back. I
will be contacting council for clarification.
