I am happy to say that we have begun transplanting liriope from the parking lot
planters to several locations to fill in blank spots. Cristina Ramos, Vania
Georgieva and Lance Jabcobsen have all participated and know how. It is very
easy to do.
The key thing will be to keep it watered until it is well-established,
basically through the dry periods until a good freeze this fall. After that it
probably can take care of itself
It looks like we have until the last week in May to move more. I am away this
weekend but there for the next two, so I will try to organize more sessions
then. Please feel free to move some in the meantime if any of you are
available. Filling out beds with empty spots really does make things look more
finished, and will pretty much take care of itself in the future.
