Thanks folks - just to clarify.
This is just one unit - not attempting a whole lot more. We do have one ‘meet’
by video hookup - the person who is talking - their video shows up on
everyone’s screen. Thats the one 4-hour class. The rest is their homework, an
essay, a concept map on the subject, and an online (message board) discussion
they have with each other over a period of 2 or 3 weeks, based on some topics
of conversation I provide.
Yes, I agree, its crazy to think of presenting theory without a significant
experiential component. Thats what I am trying to nut out. How to do that with
a dozen people, each sitting in a different part of the country (and the world)
on their individual computer, necessarily glued to the screen. Its a challenge!
