Greetings all
The Universe is an amazing place and I just love it when it hears you!
I am a very recent student of the constellation work having been introduced to
it in my current study as a holistic counsellor. I am being drawn to the area
of constellation work with children and have been wanting to contact you all to
see if you can direct me to reading material and personal experiences with
children. And here the Universe decided to take matters in it's own hand and
began this beautiful stream of information and contacts.
I am very grateful to be part of this group and will be posting my queries
soon.
In the meantime, a reading list and contacts of people working in this area in
Australia will be appreciated very much.
Warm regards and gratitude

Hi Dee,
the work you did / do sounds great. The big leather chair....I can see the
child resting in his parents arms...peace. What a beautiful picture!
I am interested to receive more information on how to work with stuffed
animals. I appreciate your input.
Kind regards,

I have done individual sessions with children and we "play" with stuffed
animals who become the representatives. The child chooses which animal is them
and chooses representatives as we bring them in and through play their
constellation unfolds. I have a big leather chair in my office and in one
constellation, after a few movements, the child put the animals representing
his parents in the chair and then he laid with his back resting on the parents.
He just rested there for some time and was so peaceful. It was quite beautiful.
There is a lot of work happening with children using figurines, and in Mexico
there are schools where they regularly use constellations with the children.
If you want more information on working with stuffed animals, drop me a line
privately.

Hi Auberon,
I don't work with young children, however, I do regular FC groups during our
school year with adolescents, the youngest being 12. I would be happy to email
or Skype with you.

I am a recent member of constellation talk and so I am not sure what has been
covered in the recent past and whether the issue I am interested in has been
considered before. There is a question I would like to raise. Is it feasible
to do constellation work with children?? I am considering working with
children whose parents have died and I am wondering whether emotional field
work of the constellation type is do-able with people who are very young. I
would be very interested to hear what other people's opinions are on this and
whether anyone has worked with children in this way.
