From my better understanding, the "bipolar disease" as probably the most of
called "mental illnesses"- is a metaphor of a murder ocurred in the family
system some generations ago. So, the "bipolar" would try to join perpetrator
and victim alternating an expansive with a retractive energy.
Also, In Stephan Hausner's book "Aunque me cueste la vida" (ed Alma Lepik) he
refers a case in which the patient was entangled with thw history of his
parents and grandparents, in which the patient represents to "Adolph Hitler"
for the mother (against the jewish ancestors of his father).

I am a Counseling and Constellation student and I would like to know more about
Bipolar Disease.
In one BH´s book (Los ordenes de la ayuda in Spanish), he mentiones it could
be linked to incest.
Have you found any other causes? What are your experiences related to this?
