I would like to make an additional point. According to a number of
contributors here, peer to peer practice groups and the valuable learning
they can generate, seem to be hindered by issues of professional reputation
(fearful ego) and commercial considerations. In fact this very forum is
successful because participants can contribute easily and freely. By making
free of charge only peer to peer groups more widely available and popular,
practical learning could be enhanced. If we are truly interested in
expanding the social impact of the constellation approach, the rare or
occasional advert for a free of charge practice group on ConstallationTalk
could be worthy of consideration.

I sympathize with the voices of wanting one platform to be informed,
including the global connectivity that is increasing. And I think it
possible that a similar list can be created for that purpose. I, as one
voice, would prefer not to mix the two ideas.

I do feel that the original approach taken by Chris was sound. However I
would consider one exemption.
FREE OF CHARGE training or peer support groups would represent value and
benefit to the whole constellation community

There are many platforms on Facebook and other for sharing of events and
advertising. Even free events are a form of advertising and marketing. If
there is interest in us taking a poll in this regard, I am happy to set it
up so it can be democratically decided going forward, however this was a
very important request from Chris Walsh in his handing over of this
platform to me and I do want to honour his legacy and what he has spent
years setting up and putting at lot of time into moderating.
The request from Chris was that we all feel free to discuss learnings or
subjects that arise in these events, but not to promote the actual events
in this forum.
Should anyone feel strongly about this either way, please private message
me and I will see if there is impetus to put a poll to this to make this a
democratically informed continuation forward. However, I think it is
important to consider how few spaces we have for true collegial connection.
