Today I bout this USB device called Instant VideoVCD http://www.adstech.com because I have a Sharp Hi8 cam corder which I want to transfer a few tapes to my computer and then maybe burns some VCD's. Well things aren't going so well! :-( By the way, it's not digital. You know how when you watch a local station and the signal isn't that great, and while you can barely see the images, it's like rolling and the signal isn't strong? That's how this is. :-( I was wondering, is it because the USB port can't handle the capture, and if not, would a firewire card be much better, even though the camera isn't digital? I would hate to give these people 15% for the restocking fee! :-( --- Look OUT you varmits, This msg is Virus Free! Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
