I just downloaded the file. Let me check out the list of files and maybe I
can just send you the setup files.
It took 27 minutes to download via DSL. My plan now is to slipstream it with
XP so it's all on one CD.

I'll be baaack......

Hmm, nope neither of those monsters are in the folder (or subfolders) Guess
that blows that idea and I'll have to revert to getting the disk from MS as
Charles suggested.

Grrrr.

Is there a setup.exe file or an Autorun.inf file in that folder ?

Well, I've done a search on my computer for this file, but nada. I'm
thinking that maybe I had it installed when I bought the computer and didn't
actually download it after all...

Here is what I *DO* find on my system... C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386
and there are 386 meg worth of files in there (perhaps and unpacked version
of the 266mb listed in your file info below) Could this be SP2, and if so,
how do I go about transferring it from one computer to the other... (and
before you show yer smart side), I *know* I could just copy the files in
that folder on to a CD, but me thinks there is more to it than that... cause
nuthin' ain't never that easy...

Subject: [CTS] Update SP on XP

In my previous (task bar help) email, I mentioned that the other computer I
have is running XP Home with SP1 on it.

My everyday (online) computer has SP2, which I downloaded and installed. Is
there a place on my computer where the SP2 download is located, so that I
can transfer it to disk and put it on the other computer?

Confused? Yeah, me too.
