As John mentioned, this can't be done strictly with HTML. However, it =
can be
done with PERL. Take a look @ http://www.peterszaro.com/spy.txt

Download it and save it as spy.cgi. Change/add the variables to your =
liking.
Place the following within the page: <!--#exec =
cgi=3D"/cgi-bin/spy.cgi"-->=20

... And you should be getting an email every time someone visits the =
page.

Note: This is designed for a low traffic page. Any questions let me =
know.

Okay I know Peter Szaro would know this off the top of his emoticon
head...butr I lost it and can't seem to find the info I had on doing
this...Tee prolly does too - she's smeeeeeee-aaarrrt!

I have one page that only people I send a link to will go to, and I want
some basic info logged to an ASCII file (like a raw log) or emailed to =
me -
mainly IP address and referring page. My server does this but the logs =
flip
over too often and the hits on this particular page are widespread - I =
don't
want to look through the online log from the host twice daily. I also =
want
to try to do this in HTML so it stays as basic as possible, I'm not even
going to echo it to the screen as it's basically for a test and for my =
info.

Any ideas peeps?
