The software for the REV drive is supposed to do that. Iomega Backup Pro.

I am not sure what to do (see support costs for smae client). One PC.
Could use CD-R's but I am un sure.

Anything cost effective? Looking for a drive and software.

Rsync to a hot-swappable hard drive. Full backups can be done regularly because you're only copying changed file chunks, and the whole thing is very fast (rsync of 10GB can be done in roughly 30 seconds). http://rsync.samba.org. (It's UNIX-centric, but there's a windows version.)
