The teaching assignment may include: Culture and Human Experience, Roots of Racism , Anthropology of U.S. Life, and related courses in the university’s General Education Program; and upper level undergraduate or graduate-level courses in cultural/social anthropology and public anthropology. PhD by September 1, 2013 required. Previous teaching experience as instructor of record is required. Other responsibilities include assisting with student advising, particularly the mentoring of women and minority students, and participating in other department service activities.
