I am in Houston, Texas where we have only been developing collab law groups
since this past january. we have about 5 different practice groups now in the
community some are closed to 20 people for various reasons, others are open and
welcome anyone who meets membership criteria and a few are very small and in
the outer lying counties. we have started a fledgling umbrella network but
each group is pretty much doing there own thing at this point. what is working
in the rest of the country; curious to know.
also Texas legis recently passed a Collab Law statute that takes a collab law
case off the trial docket for up to two years and sets some specific disclosure
requirements among other details. we'll see how it develops.
look forward to infor from anyone out there whose been doing this for a few
years. we have had some good input ffrom cincinnati practitioners already.
