Subject: [CollabLaw] rules and statutes regarding collaborative law
The Collaborative Law Institute in Minnesota drafted a proposed rule of
court for collaborative law and is now responding to questions/concerns
from interested organizations that will be submitting responses to the
proposed rule. A central question being discussed is whether
collaborative law is a form of ADR - the proposed rule if enacted will
be an adjunct to a court rule on ADR processes.
It would be of great help to know rules and statutes in other
communities/jurisdictions dealing with collaborative law or
collaborative practice, particularly rules or statutes that specifically
identify collaborative law as an ADR process. Cites to your local rules
or statutes would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
