We too are having a hard time scheduling meetings. Especially with two
lawyers, two parties, two mental health people and a financial person.
We are working on group protocols related to this topic. I will share
once they are done.
I am a little more formal in attire than some, just because my day
usually brings about other reasons to be in a suit or business clothes.
If I can go causal and a four way is that day, I go casual.
In New Mexico you see cowboy boots sticking out of judges robes and
movie stars wearing blue jeans at four star restaurants, so we tend to
be more casual here.
I have a client who lives in another state and calls in. Although it
works I don't like it as much because I am a body language and facial
expression reader and I can't do that.

Subject: [CollabLaw] Times, attire and venues for joint meetings
In attempting to schedule joint meetings our office finds difficulty
in scheduling meetings. We have resorted to use of early morning
meetings beginning at 7am and we have also resorted to evening
meetings. Is this a common experience for others? We have also
scheduled meetings on Saturday and Sunday
I have also gone back and forth on proper attire. I currently believe
that I should wear the same clothes that I would wear to court. Any
thoughts on this?
Finally, I would like to promote discussion on venue choices. Has
anyone had joint meetings at Starbucks, conference centers, in homes,
or by conference calls. On the latter, we recently had a joint meeting
where one party participated by calling in. It worked quite well.
