I'm glad you liked my vision. I agree with you when you say:

It might be interesting to discuss on the list what are some actions that
could be taken as a group to get the attention of the media, the public,
and, yes those that have the power to change laws. But probably they will
not give attention to this issue until public opinion starts the pressure
for change.

I have been a proponent of Collaborative Practice since my own
divorce 6 years ago. My efforts toward that end enabled Brevard
County, Florida to have the first Administrative Order in the State
recognizing, advocating, and recommending Collaborative Practice as
an alternative means of dispute resolution. One can only hope that
this higher level thinking will be put into action by
an "intellectual" President who seems to realize that American
society is in crisis. My personal belief is that in addition to
bringing this process to the highest levels of government
intervention, where beurocratic filtration will hamper its results,
we need to educate Mr and Mrs American family where the highest
