There are many civil lawyers with collaborative training in Texas. I am
forwarding this to Sherrie Abney and Larry Maxwell of Dallas who are leaders
of the organizations that have sponsored training here. They can check
their rosters and see if any of their trainees are from Houston. Norma
Trusch and Don Royall of Houston may also know someone. Some of the lawyers
in Dallas have a construction and employment law background. I hope that
you are able to find someone, because it would be super if a Texas case went
collaborative before the legislature considers the civil collaborative law
statute this spring. Thanks for encouraging your friend to use the model.
Peace,

Subject: [CollabLaw] Re: Civil Referral in Houston
I have a friend and co-worker whose husband worked for a construction
company in Houston, under contract, and is endeavoring to collect some back
pay and
pursuing cancellation of the contract. This could possibly be a good
Collaborative case, as I am reasonably sure it will settle.
Referrals?
