Area of Practice:
I am a psychologist and my practice consists of adult clients and I am the
founder of the PEACE Program, a parent counseling program for divorcing
parents. I am trained in mediation and collaborative divorce and am a member
of the Connecticut Collaborative Divorce Group for my practice group. I am
also one of the Connecticut trainers who offer the Basic Collaborative
Interdisciplinary Divorce Training. I am also a member of the IACP Training
Committee.
Any trainings in Collaborative Law:
I have had many trainings in collaborative practice both at the basic and
advanced level and as stated above am a trainer in collaborative practice
here in Connecticut.
What is your interest in Collaborative Law:
I am dedicated to providing families with an alternative to litigation and
believe in the collaborative process as an important means to allow families
to successfully transition to a different family structure and way of
functioning. I am the co-author of a book entitled The Co-Parenting Survival
Guide and have been a strong voice in the movement to help families divorce
with respect and help children live a new life after divorce free of the
seriously damaging effects of parent conflict. I am also very pleased to
train new collaborative professionals and mentor them in their new skills.
