In keeping with the theme of this year's Forum: The Art of Holding Hope

I continue to hold hope that as part of each Forum, there might be more
than simply an announcement of the date, place and title. That there might
be presented an opportunity to actually 'pre-register' for that Forum.
It is possible to perceive that the Forum is no longer the ONLY opportunity
for CP professionals from around the country and the world to come together
to share and grow as such. However, I believe the Forum is still THE
gathering.
My own hope remains that the Forum does not become just another conference
that "I'll go to IF nothing else comes up". That it remain instead what I
believe it has always been. The reunion and rejuvenation of the spirit
that feeds the soul of 'us' and of each of us. That it be THE event that
goes on the calendar first and around which I schedule other opportunities
and obligations.
Anyway, that's a Hope I continue to Hold.
