Out on the Van Gard this am, weather warm and beautiful. Some fairly good
swells going out but no one sick as far as I could see. Full boat with
folks from all over. Gray whale in Am with a trap/buoy attached it.
Coordinates 04.350/19.000 for those who can help with those sort of things.
Did seem to be slowing him/her down a bit. Behavior for most of the whales
was a slow migration pattern. There was one young juvenile (very dark) who
was playing behind the boat and mistaken for a shark, briefly.

Lindsay and Joe were all awesome and accommodating. I was the lone
Naturalist on board.
