5 Orca (still don’t know what pod it is)
5 humpbacks (breaches out in the distance)
500 dolphin
1 blue shark
Only into the trip 20 minutes when orca spotted. Watched them for about an
hour. 1male 5 females. They seemed to be just traveling because dolphins were
all around and a juvenile sea lion. They did not seem interested in pursuing
them. One group of dolphins pick up a sound of orca and off they went at
about 25 miles an hour. Then off again to the humpbacks. 1 took a break
rolling in the kelp. Everyone had a whale of a time. Thanks to fellow
Naturalists Gray on camera. Toni Bailey and me. Thanks to the crew Captain
Dave, Captain Tasha and the great chef Jill. Once I know which pod it was
