The U.S. Fire Administration has received notice of the following
firefighter fatality:
Name: George Raber
Rank: Crew Chief
Age: 69
Gender: Male
Status: Volunteer
Years of Service: 41 Years
Date of Incident: 07/31/04
Time of Incident: 3:15PM Central Time
Date of Death: 07/31/04
Fire Department Name: Hebron Fire Protection District
Fire Department Address: PO Box 506, Hebron, ND 58638
Fire Department Phone: (911) 911-0911
Fire Department Chief: Terry Dakken
Cause of Death: Crew Chief Raber suffered a heart attack while exiting
from the fire engine at a fire near Hebron, ND. After CPR, he was
pronounced dead at Richardton Health Center.
Funeral: 08/04/04
