Chess 960 Tournament!!
For those who do not know, or might notremember, in the game of Chess 960, also
known as Fischer Random Chess, youwill start the game with the pieces in your
back row in different positionsthan normal. The random setup eliminates the
prospect of obtaining an advantagethrough the memorization of opening lines. It
makes players rely on theirtalent and creativity. In each round of the
tournament, there will be adifferent board set up. So basically, in each of
your games, your backrow, the row where your queen, king, and main pieces are
located, will beplaced on different squares.
Now, there will be approximately 5 rounds in thetournament, depending on the
total number of players. Each round will beapproximately 3 weeks long. So,
there will be plenty of time to schedule, andplay your game. Each game will
