Hi, Chaoscopians! Considering the visual aspect, visualisation or representation of fractals, there can be little doubt that colour is as important as structure. Therefore, I wonder, wouldn't it be desirable to implement the saving of parameter files in such a way that not only the paramater values but also the colour maps would be stored. If, for instance, you are experimenting with lots of different gradients (colour maps), rather than saving rendered images, it is much more convenient to save parameter files including map-related information, until you come across the appearance you have been looking for. Which leads to another question / suggestion: Since briefly after starting the rendering process you get a pretty good idea of what the final image will look like, to avoid making the user wait for a result she or he does not really want, maybe it would be a good idea to enable the her or him to stop the rendering, for example by hitting the ESC key. Things like these may serve to improve the program. Nice to have, maybe, but not really necessary. For who would deny that Chaoscope is already a great piece of software.
