Hi Antoni,

I'm a new user to Chaoscope, Very Great program I think:) (I only
have a little experience with XenoDream), Now I signed onto this list
and by looking the old messages I find iteration settings that are
(example 2E8 iterations) I think this is a very stupid question but,
what does this mean ?? Putting this value in the iteration box is not
working (only numbers allowed).

2E8 means a 2 followed by 8 zeros (200,000,000), writting it this way is known as "scientific notation". The maximum iteration limit is 2.14E9, or 2^31.

It wasn't a stupid question, the purpose of this mailing-list is to help Chaoscope users, whatever their level of knowledge may be.

Thanks for the help, and the fractals I seen from users are so great
to look at.

I agree. Special mention to Stonethrunk for "Striped Sphere" and for "Thong gone wrong", a brilliant title. :-)

Kudos to CoMa for his Plasma/Solid composition technique.

I'm thinking about running a Chaoscope picture competition in July, although it might not be the best month of the year to do so since most of you will be away on holidays.
