Subject: Upcoming NHM Lecture by Prof. Fred. L. Bookstein
Please see the attached announcement of an upcoming Museum lecture by the noted
morphometrician and quantitative biologist Fred. L. Bookstein. Feel free to
forward this announcement to colleagues at other London (and vicinity)
institutions who may have an interested in the topics covered by Fred's talk.
This isn't be the first time Fred's come by the Museum, but he always puts on a
thought-provoking show. Finally, Fred will be in the Museum the entire day of
20 September. If anyone would like to schedule a private or a small group
meeting with him to discuss issues in morphometrics, biometrics, applied
statistics, linear algebra, evolution, linguistics, etc. please let me know.
I'll be happy to arrange for as many staff to meet with him as his schedule
allows.
