I have found some discs (DVD+R) at my local 'PoundLand' (where everything costs a pound) in stack-packs of 4. These seem to write fine with my LiteOn SHW-1635S02C. As I'm new to this I don't know prices generally, but 25p seems very reasonable to me. Many people pay more than that for a CD. The make is DATA*CELL, and the discs resemble Verbatim discs in their colour and having 'shiny' bits on their label side, and in their colour/appearance before/after writing on the 'track' side. I have no idea if there are any problems in store, of longevity or whatever, but they seem OK so far!
