Hi Judy, We are so aggrieved upon hearing of Brenda’s terrible misfortune.
We pray for her recovery and hope that she & her son arrived back home okay.
Our 🙏🏻prayers & ♥️love are with her and her family.
We are also 🙏🏻thinking of Francisco and his family. What a terrible place to be
in for their family especially during Cov19. There has to be some Comm.
Services to help. 🙏🏻We are praying ...♥️ R&A
I have been so busy with R and have neglected my email. Rudy is more into his
world of silence & we are checking for more assistance with his hearing aids.
I have had to shift priorities; Mickey helps. I am concentrating more on our
disabilities; medication side-effects are challenging. Increased issues have
made
It difficult for me to change my way of life, but age has made it necessary. R
feels it too as he lives in a very different reality... having loss so much of
his hearing. He has retreated from ppl so much & he is not reading as before.
Mickey installed some ear-phones for use w/the TV & working well, & TG, he
still baths himself, dresses & shaves(got him an electric shaver this wk).
I thank God who is present always & His Spirit is alive within us. But
for Him, we would be in bad trouble.
Our Ruth & Rose are wanting to come & visit... & it’s difficult to hold
them off as we have not had visitors in our home (except masked plumbers) since
January 2020. Ruth & Eric needed to come this past weekend but, to relieve our
concern & save me work, they stayed in a motel. We met them for brunch at a
safe restaurant & she invited the boys & hosted us all. It was crucial for
Ruth to “ come home” & we relented & asked them for Sunday evening.
They also stopped by on their way home to Foresthills on Monday morning.
Being together was great but we all missed our Rose. Now, they are all
planning to be here for 🌲Christmas; already have their reservations at the
Harbor Inn to include all 4 + the grands & of course, Mason. Masks yes, & no
hugs will be in order!! R&I are going to be tested...they are all testing
“Negative”.
God help us. We thank you for ur continual concern & prayers.
♥️Love u in Christ, Ann
P.S. I’m blessed to be able to drive safely
(even when in pain). Both boys work full-time but on certain days Mickey’s
shifts start at 3:PM. He performs miracles in those morning hours plus on his
days off. Pat has recovered well from his shoulder surgery, a good cook &
helpful. Both take care of their own needs fully; laundry & cleaning the
upstairs. Pat
(Job related injury) is in Physical Therapy & healing well.

her husband.

I have 2 prayer requests:
1. Brenda Ennis's niece, Alexandra was in a car accident last week and
suffered whiplash. Last night Brenda's son's dog savagely bit her in the
face, which may require plastic surgery after it heals.
After being up most of the night, Brenda and her son and his dog will leave
at 3 am tomorrow morning to drive back to Tennessee. Please pray for them.
CDCC has been Brenda's church when she visits her parents in Goleta, and
she often brings her Dad in his wheelchair. Bailey, one of her 5 sons, was
active in the youth program here quite a few summers ago. Alexandra
practiced on our sanctuary piano.
2. My Guatemalan friend Francisca's husband broke his shoulder on his job
as a mail truck driver and mail handler, and just found out that it will
require surgery, and be out of work for 5 or so months of recuperation.
Francisco is paid by the hour, and will not receive workers' compensation;
so they are facing possible homelessness. Let me know if you need
alterations, as Francisca is an excellent seamstress.
