We pay something in between those figures, so that sounds about right. We still
have fire insurance through our insurer of many years. It’s very hard to get
fire insurance without California FAIR nowadays in the East Bay hills.

that our agent suggested and they quoted us a little less than $4000 through
SageSure (with fire insurance included). This year our broker quoted us
~$6000 for renewal and when we asked for a companion policy with California
FAIR plan, we got quoted an even higher rate. We're pretty alarmed - do these
numbers seem right?
