Hello everyone!
We're relatively new to homeowners insurance in general and wanted to check
in with everyone to see what's a fair rate and if there are any insurance
brokers you can recommend. When we moved in last year we went with a broker
that our agent suggested and they quoted us a little less than $4000
through SageSure (with fire insurance included). This year our broker
quoted us ~$6000 for renewal and when we asked for a companion policy with
California FAIR plan, we got quoted an even higher rate. We're pretty
alarmed - do these numbers seem right?
Would really appreciate any comments and recommendations here!
