Netscape 4 was impossible to develop further, and Mozilla was still vastly pre-beta. Remember Netscape 6.0? Based on Mozilla 0.6, this version should never have been released (bugs? BUGS???), but they *had* to do something before Netscape was forgotten altogether. It's still not quite sure whether this didn't do the reputation more bad than good... > to this day.
