Windows 98's real version number is 4.10. I don't know Millennium's
version, but I guess it's 5.00

Millennium follows Windows 98, and is still based on the old Windows 95
kernel, while Windows 2000 is actually NT 5.0.

In short:

name             version     kernel
===================================
Windows 3.1      3.10        win-16
Windows NT 3.1   3.10        win-NT
Windows NT 3.5x  3.50        win-NT
Windows NT 4.0   4.00        win-NT
Windows 95       4.00        win-32
Windows 98       4.10        win-32
Windows ME       4.20        win-32
Windows 2000     5.00        win-NT
Windows XP       5.00        win-NT (?)

I've been working with '3.11' so far, so I think I'l call it 3.11.
