<CT> Calmira Problem

Hiya,
Due to a hard disk failure, I'm forced to be using 3.11 again on a spare
little 125 M hard drive. The trouble is, often when there is four or more
task windows opens it freezes. I can press ctrl-alt-del and end the calmira
task, and continue with the other tasks (Ie save work etc) but with out a
program manager cannot start new apps. I used a straightfroward install of
the latest version from the calmira web site.
The other issue is, that I very often get out of memory type errors, even
though I have 64M to play with. (Himem.sys is loaded) any ideas round this
one?
