Hi gang,
Picked up on a little programming again, I am in the middle of an
Explorer/Icon Window overhaul; I've updated the drawing of selected
icons, now only the captions turns blue; makes for a much cleaner look.
Next is the popup menu... Li-Hsin started working with a dynamic popup
menu, but his design turned out to be unworkable... so it is exit
DynaMenu.pas and back to regular popup menu's, which are much easier to
work with, not to mention, far easier to maintain. (a lot of past bugs
were the result of bad maintainability of DynaMenu).
When that's done, I plan to customize the file popup menu, so that it
will show the default action that it reads from the registry (Open,
Print, etc.). Along will come the new File Type editor, meaning you can
customize what the popup menu contains depending on the filetype.
Alredy finished:
+ File System Change notification.
+ Export start menu groups back to Program Manager.
+ Folder Properties now accessable form Explorer tree.
+ Redesigned Select Files and Set File Filter dialogs.
+ Updated drawing of selected icons.
...and i thought Calmira was 'finished'...
ps. Anyone still interested in a new version?
