<CT> Another DSL question

Happy St. Patricks day everyone!
Anyway ... with all this talk about DSL and routers, brings up a question I
have, if this was addressed eariler and I missed an email I'm sorry.
I have DSL and a hub I was planning on hooking up my Laptop (486/75 running
Windows 3.1 and Calmira 3.2) into the hub with a RJ45/10 cable ... is this not
possible without additional hardware/software?
