For my fellow PF3 ATC users.
I don't know why, but I give it the atis frequency and I can hear the atis
info.
I tell it to switch the clearance frequency And I've tried just zero, ctrl
and zero and ctrl shift and zero and I've even tried saying contact Erie
Clearance Delivery all with no luck.
I know something is wrong but what could it be?
I have The voice in MSATC turned off, I've switch over to radar contact in
the IYP program.
My copilot is on setting number two.
Would love it if someone could connect with me via jaws connect to double
check my settings.
Don't know what is set wrong but something but not be set correctly.
I did have IYP switch over to radar contact and I followed Josh's you tube
tutorial.
But I still only hear the atis info and nothing else.
Would deeply appreciate it if someone could connect up with me.
Because I can not figure it out.

When I flew to Leader dog for both of my dogs, I flew from Erie Intl

I've been after Wilco publishing who was the one's who were the original
contractors with the real world company Dassault for their FSX version
of
the Dassault Falcon 7X tryjet.
I've been after them to design a DF8X since it was flight certified.
But still even though the real DF7X and now the real DF8X are both flight
certified by both Europe and the FAA here in the states, we still don't
have
a blind friendly version of the df8x.
Why would one want to retire their df7x for a DF8x?
1. The DF8X flies 500 miles further than the older DF7X.
2. The Fuel on the DF8X is 35 percent more efficient than onboard the
older
DF7X.
So, if I can get the speed bird changed, I think I'll be able to start
using
PF3 ATC.

Hi Ron,
I'm in the US also, so that won't be a problem.
You can disable the voice in the sound settings of fsx. Just click on
the voice button, and that should take care of it.
If you haven't done so already, you need to set the copilot mode to 2
in pf3, that way it'll handle frequency changes for you.
When you get to the request IFR clearance part, you can just have IYP
go to that frequency, then hit 0.
The only other key command you need to know is ctrl+shift+=, which is
the repeat command.
Also, if you haven't done so, you'll want to switch over to radar contact

I wasn't the one who did the youtube tutorial, that was actually josh.
I can answer most if not all of your questions.
To disable MSATC, go into the sound settings, but just click on voice.
That should disable it.
To look at the copilot voices you can use with pf3, go into options#1
in the pf3 program, then go to the part where it talks about voices
and call signs. I'm not totally sure what screen reader you're using.
I use NVDA, so I'll be giving instructions based on that.
When you find that, use NVDA+numpad6 to go to the right until you find
the voices combo box.
Press NVDA+numpad2 to get in there, and then you can see the voices. I
think.
To select the flight plan, there should be a select flight plan button
after the options#1 button. Once you do that, it'll ask you to select
the folder that your flight plans are stored. Just go to the flight
simulator folder in your documents folder.
The frequencies file only appears after you've selected the flight
plan and hit the connect to fs button. It can be found under at least
on my system, "C:\Program Files
(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\PF3_display\PF3_freqs.dat"
