Hello RonI'll write down a guide for you, to *completely* whipe Itsyourplane off your computer, and reinstall a Fresh version of IYP again, in case the problem is with Itsyourplane.
Please do stuff as exactly i've instructed below Try this out: (note: this will delete IYP settings and registration information) 1: Remove Itsyourplane from the control panel 2: Within FSX folder, delete all the itsyourplane folder and files3: go to c:\users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0, and completely delete the two folders there, leaving the 2.0 folder empty.
4: press the start menu, search for CMD, and open up cmd.exe5: You need to enter this command exactly like what i Write here into commandLine and press enter:
rundll32 dfshim CleanOnlineAppCacheSo keep the above line in your memory (Case Sensetive) and write it down into commandline and press enter) 6: Go to itsyourplane.com and from the software revisions page Start a new installation. And grab your serial key and such because IYP is going to ask that information.
If this Method didn't solve your problem, you need to check the speech recognition or other windows settings.

Hi Ron, Please go here: http://www.itsyourplane.com/diagnostics.asp and follow the 3-line instruction entitled: If we ask that you DELETE the 2.0 Folder: to completely uninstall IYP. Then, go to the IYP website and re-install the IYP application. As soon as you press it you get the error 5 announcement. The UAC is not on. So what could be blocking it? Hi Ron, The speech recognition engine is not started if FSX is shut down. It only gets initialized when FSX is started. Something else must be causing the ERROR 5 - like the UAC/ Robert On Wed, Sep 18, 2013 at 2:36 PM, Ron Kolesar <kolesar16417@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:kolesar16417@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>> wrote: Hi Robert. Normally yes I can see the info that you had asked about. But even with FSX shut down if you click on the IYP icon to launch it you get the error 5 problem foom speech recognition. So it looks like that the speech recognition isn’t loetting IYP to fire up. Hope this is helpful. Hi, I do not know how you can do the following with JAWS. 1. Ensure FSX is shut down. 2. Launch IYP. 3. There are 2 buttons labelled Manage Settings and Exit Programme. Beneath these buttons there's a clickable string of text that reads: It's Your Plane ©2007-2013 Robert M. Cezar/Pacific Feelings Media See if you can click that text. If not, then I will need to make a BVI compatibility modification. If you are able to click the text, a message box should appear that reads: Debug Messages Active with an OK button. See if you can read the above text. If so, press ENTER. Please let me know if you can get this far. I then warm booted my machine. I then went back and made sure that everything was unchecked, set for total control, and set for everyone. I even double checked this by clicking on sharing it told me everyone read write. So I know that all was done correctly. I then fired up FSX and had a bird out on the runway. But as soon and I went to launch IYP I received the error 5 problem. So that didn’t work. So what to try next? Thanks.
