you can do it with jaws but you will have to have a braille display. I have never gotten the speech to read it. sa is the way to go. if you really want to do it with jaws and you have skype, give me a shout brian.moore

and I can help get it to work but I think, only with braille.

Jaws doesn't seem to read it, at least it didn't when I used XP. I
was able to push the "next" button, but the actual words I was
supposed to read were not spoken by Jaws. Back then I was using
Windows XP, SP2. I wonder if it is different now that I use Windows
7?

I never had an issue training my computer. System Access read everything
that I needed. I of course did not do a full training, though. I setup the
microphone and did the initial training and that was it. I think, if memory
serves me right, it worked okay the one time I did do the entire training.

Subject: [bvipilots] Speech Recog Question

Has anyone using a screen reader figured out a way for those of us who
have no sight to train our speech recognition on our pc? This is
extremely important. I remember back when I first tried IYP with FS
2004, Michelle couldn't seem to understand me, no matter how clearly I
enunciated my words. I don't have anyone sighted who can read to me,
so is there any alternative way I can train this thing so I don't have
that same problem?
